SUMMARY:1ST INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS SCHOLARS SYMPOSIUM 2024 (IBSS 2024)
DESCRIPTION:Dear GSB Students\, \nWelcome to the 1st International Business Scholars Symposium (IBSS) 2024\, themed Building and Sustaining Organisational Resilience: Sustainable Value Creation and Steward Leadership into the Future\, taking place on 26 & 27 October 2024 at Auditorium 1\, Kompleks Eureka\, USM. The IBSS is organised by GSB in collaboration with the Business School from Binus University. \nIn conjunction with the IBSS\, there is a call for papers to be presented at the symposium and published in MyCite journals*. Paper submission is exclusively open to GSB students and is free of charge. All selected papers must be presented in person at the IBSS and will then be revised for potential publication in a MyCite journal*. As the number of selected papers is limited\, submissions will be processed on a first-come\, first-served basis\, with the quality of the paper also being taken into consideration. \nImportant Dates: \n\nDeadline for full paper submission: 14 October 2024\nNotification of selected papers for presentation at IBSS: 17 October 2024\nSymposium presentation: 26 & 27 October 2024\nDeadline for revised paper submission: 15 November 2024*\n\n*Only papers revised according to the reviewers’ comments will be published in MyCite journals. \nPlease refer to the author guidelines for full paper submission: \n\nAuthors can submit conceptual or empirical research papers under GSB’s broad clusters: Sustainability Accounting and Governance\, Financial Economics\, Global Strategy and Organizational Behaviour\, Marketing\, Innovation and Operations Management\, and Corporate Social Responsibility.\nResearch papers should follow the IBSS template format attached for your reference.\nResearch papers will undergo plagiarism checks (no more than 20%) and a rigorous review before acceptance.
