To further provide MBA aspirants with more competitive advantages, USM has partnered with Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) to offer Dual Degree MBA, with the specialisation in ASEAN Business.
This programme is ideal for those who aspired to achieve greater heights of success, as it equips you with a thorough grounding in the main functional areas of business, and explore the emerging challenges facing business, especially in the ASEAN context. It is designed to prepare and stimulate graduates for self-development or embark on professional careers.
Our Online, flexible learning MBA is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and experience to become a Great Business Leader. This Dual Degree MBA is a Flexible Learning programme delivered through Online, without interrupting your career. Over your candidature period (2 – 5 years, depending on your own pace), you study and share experiences with like-minded professionals from a wide variety of managerial backgrounds and industries. As such, you will have access to the extensive USM and ITB alumni networks. Co-facilitated by ITB experts, this programme will not only advance your business and management knowledge, but offers a highly experiential and collaborative learning experience that will transform your personal and professional lives.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a university recognised by the USM’s Senate or an equivalent qualification:
  • A minimum CGPA of 2.75/4.00 or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year working experience; or
  • A minimum CGPA of 3.50/4.00 or equivalent (without working experience)
  • Individuals with working experience but lack of formal academic qualifications to pursue their tertiary studies can apply for Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) certificate.
  • English Language Requirements (Applicable for International Applicants Only)

     

    • A minimum score of 60 for TOEFL (Internet-based); or
    • A minimum of Band 8.5 for TOEFL Essentials (Online); or
    • A minimum of Band 6 for IELTS; or
    • A minimum score of 59 for PTE; or
    • A minimum score for Cambridge English: Occupational English Test (OET) (Conventional/Online) min 250 /Advance (CAE)/Proficiency (CPE) /Preliminary (PET) /First (FCE)/Linguaskill Online min. score 169; or
    • A minimum score of 109 for ELS; or
    • A minimum of Band 4 for MUET
     
    Exemption can be given to candidate if:
     
    English is the candidate’s mother tongue or National Language; or
    The candidate graduated from an Institution of Higher Learning in which the medium of instruction at Bachelor and/or Master degree level is English (statement of proof required)
