Biography

Jeffrey Cheah PhD is a university lecturer of Graduate School of Business (GSB) at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang, Malaysia. He is also the unit coordinator for Yunus Social Business Centre (GSB-YSBC). His research focuses on social entrepreneurship and corporate social innovation in Southeast Asia, as well as the Asia region. Previously, he was the Head of Department (HOD) of corporate division in a regional leading social business for over 10 years. He looks forward to expanding his social network within the local and international social entrepreneurship scenes.

1. Marketing Consultant, (2018): Assist private limited company to establish a yearly marketing plan and business strategies

2.Head of Department (2004-2015): He performed his profession effectively in business planning and development, marketing strategies and sales, leading team members, consult the entrepreneurs, coordinate the propel of local and international experts, and facilitating various humanity and business management courses.

3.Journalist (2002-2004): Plan and conduct interviews and features writing.
