Biography

Dr. Faiza Saleem is currently a senior lecturer at the Graduate School of Business, Universiti Sains Malaysia. She obtained her PhD in finance from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru, in 2018 with the Best Postgraduate Student Award and Excellence Achievement in the PhD Thesis. Before that, Dr. Faiza began her academic career in 2011 as a lecturer at the University of Wah and was later promoted and served as an assistant professor in finance at the same university from 2018 to 2023. She has rich research experience, and she has published many articles in reputed journals and attended and presented papers at national and international conferences. Dr. Faiza’s primary research areas of interest encompass corporate social responsibility, corporate governance, the environment, financial inclusion, green finance, and sustainability. She is a reviewer of various journals, including Economic Research-Ekonomska Istraživanja, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Elsevier Journal: Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and Audit and Accounting Review. She had also worked as Editor-in-Chief of the UW Journal of Management Sciences (2018–2022). She is also a member of the editorial board for journals. Dr. Faiza served as a resource person for seminars and workshops.
